Ibought one of these around last august, there is not as high of a demand as it use to be. He will ship to Canada as he is located in Germany, but it may be delayed due to COVID19. The cost he charged me was 50 EUROS.

yes i did, xboxsergeon helped me fix my kit. it turned out my first kit had a broken dvd drive and my second kit needs to be directly connected to a router for XBN to Work so i got an old router and connected between my dev kit and my computer and it worked fine, the router didnt need to even be connected to the internet.


Yes pleas let me know your progress, I'm having issues getting mine to work. Btw, when you put you 733mhz p3 slot 1 processor, did you have to set any jumpers or did it work imediately after connecting it to the motherboard? I bought a 733mhz processor upgrading my board from the 533eb processor it came with and when I connected it, I got no video. Did you have this issue?


Ok, so this means that it sould automatically, detect the processor without the need to flip any jumper setting, then it may be I had a bad processor. I ordered the original model I had before so I can see if the mobo still works.


Thank you for the links, I dont think the top link will be much use at the moment since i cant get a video signal to view any of the error codes. As for the bottom link, some of the posts were made by CodeASM and he is helping me fix my alpha so anything he wrote I can get directly from him if he seems it necessary to my issues.


There is a compatability list but I think there is like 5 total that are perfectly functional where there are 20 that work poorly and another 30 that dont work at all. If you want I can send you the link.


The Alpha Xenon Development Kit (XeDK) was an Apple PowerMac G5 running an early version of the XDK software that was sent to early developers for the Xenon console. The earliest evidence of the Alpha XeDK was around October 2003 when they first started arriving on Microsoft's Redmond campus.


Some of the earliest documentation of the Alpha XeDK dates back to October 2003 when Xerox contractor Michael Hanscom shared a picture of a truckload of PowerMac G5s arriving on Microsoft's Redmond campus. Hanscom was later fired for posting the photos to his online blog.[1]


The Alpha XeDK was used for development of early Xbox 360 titles including Crackdown, Condemned, Kameo and Full Auto. Development of these titles was later moved to Beta hardware and eventually, final XDK hardware before being released.


The Alpha XeDK was used for all demos at E3 2005. Even though the final case design was being shown, all of the locked kiosk cabinets contained the PowerMac G5 Alpha XeDKs and wired controllers due to the lack of RF board.


When Microsoft moved all development to the Beta XeDK, the Alpha XeDKs were resold to full time Microsoft employees for $300 USD with a limit of 1 per employee. Although these kits all had the Microsoft Game Studios stickers on them, most were wiped and reinstalled with Mac OS X for personal use.


The A1047 PCI-X model uses an earlier Dual-Processor (DP) PowerPC 970 2.0GHz CPU configuration. PCI-X 2 Alpha XeDKs assembled after June 2004 used a Dual-Processor (DP) PowerPC 970fx 2.0GHz CPU configuration that was identical but with a 90nm manufacturing process (an upgrade from the 130nm process used in the previous 970 model).


The graphics card is the only difference between an Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 XeDKs. The Alpha 1 configuration uses an R300 based ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB and is not supported by later recoveries. The R420 based ATI Radeon X800 XT was sent out to developers in order to update to Alpha 2. The X800 XT features double the VRAM of the previous R300 based card and is required to run later recoveries. Both cards are AGP based Mac-edition cards.


An Intel Pro100+ PCI networking card is installed in the top slot of the PowerMac G5 to handle networking for the XDK (the PowerMac G5's internal networking port is not recognized by the XDK software).


The Alpha XeDK supports up to 4 connected controllers. If more than one controller is being used then a USB hub is required. A single controller can be connected to the Alpha XeDK without a hub but multiple controllers need to be connected to a hub in order to be recognized. The USB hub must be bus-powered and can not use an external power brick.


The hard drive is an Apple Partition Map formatted drive with a 10MB HFS partition at the beginning dedicated for booting. The OpenFirmware BIOS on the PowerMac can only load .elf files from an HFS partition. Two files are present on the 10MB XeBoot partition; a 1MB ELF file called xboxroma.bin and a CHRP boot file called XEBOOT that is used by OpenFirmware to automatically load the xboxroma.bin file.


Xbox 360 retail and beta Krypton controllers are not supported on Alpha 1 recoveries. Only Original Xbox controllers with a USB-A adapter can be used to control an Alpha XeDK running an Alpha 1 recovery.


The R300 based Alpha 1 video cards were phased out during Fall 2004 and were no longer supported after February 2005. They can not be used to install or boot an Alpha 2 recovery.[3] If an Alpha 1 XeDK is remotely updated to an Alpha 2 recovery without upgrading the graphics card then the user will be presented with an error message on startup.


Alpha 2 XeDKs were upgraded versions of the Alpha 1 XeDKs with R420 based ATI Radeon X800 XTs installed. These cards were sometimes just referred to as "256MB video cards" within Microsoft's internal documentation.


In May of 2005, developers were able to use the full 512MB of system memory with the intention of 256MB being dedicated for the graphics processor. If developers exceeded their graphics 256MB limit then extra resources were stored within the AGP card's VRAM.


The Alpha XeDK operating system will run on any BootROM version and has been tested up to 5.1.8f7. Any claims that .elf support was removed in later BootROMs are false and there is no evidence to support it.

Xbox One OS build 8422 is a build of Xbox OS. It was originally shared in the form of an alpha development kit disk image dump of the October 2012 XDK on 2 August 2015 by warez group DemonSquad[1] following allegations surrounding the purchase of a development kit by an unknown individual on eBay in August 2012.[2] The operating system is based on a heavily stripped-down version of the Windows 8 codebase, leaving only the bare essentials required for launching Xbox One/Durango games such as minimal GDI+ and USER APIs.


It notably contains an early version of the Xbox XDK Launcher (referred to as the Xbox Compositor), which is merely a simple list of launchable/installed applications complete with a small number of configurable settings, along with additional debug information detailing the console's specifics and current network information printed at the top right.

With the release of this XDK, versions of the Durango XDK before July 2012 are retired. We maintain download support for the three most recent releases of the XDK. You are encouraged, though, to update to each new release in order to get the most recent bug fixes and new features.

For this release PIX now provides a way to analyze significantly more data at once, and a vastly improved way to view it. You can now open multiple frame captures simultaneously, enabling you to see events, resources, shaders and other PIX views for separate capture documents at the same time. This supports manual comparison of capture files for performance changes or to assist in debugging graphical issues.


In order to more easily manage all of these captures, you need more screen real-estate, so PIX now supports multiple monitors. You can drag and drop views from the main PIX interface to other monitors and flexibly arrange multiple collection of views to suit your needs.


You can also direct PIX to use a separate development kit for analysis than the one used for capture. This extends to multiple capture files; each open capture document can specify a different kit for analysis.


In addition, the events list now supports sorting and filtering. Events can be sorted ascending or descending by any counter column, and can be filtered by text string match or to GPU work events only. Together, this allows you to filter and sort by Draw calls with the longest measured duration, highlighting key rendering spikes in descending order.


The operating system is based on a heavily stripped-down version of Windows internally referred to as ClientCore,[3] and therefore only includes the necessary APIs required for games built for the Xbox One (then-codenamed Durango). Support for legacy Win32-based applications is almost entirely absent, with binaries commonly used by regular desktop applications being replaced with cut-down variants containing APIs found in regular PC games that additionally take advantage of DirectX or featureless stubs such as shell32.dll. Likewise, a unique disclosure warning with a similar premise to the NDA warning found in the watermarks of various Windows 8 builds can also be found within the aforementioned binary's respective MUI file, stating the following:
