Tuesday's hike (4/24) will be our annual trillium hike in the G. Richard
Thompson Wildlife Management Area in Virginia (Map 8). We'll ascend the
Ted Lewis Trail and go north on the AT with a loop hike to the lake
before returning to the AT south and back to the Ted Lewis Trail for
about 15 miles.
To carpool, meet at 7 am at the Stone Rd Park and Ride. Take I66 west to
exit 52 then right onto Rt 29 then 2nd right into parking lot then
immediately left to corner of lot. Or, please let me know if you�d
rather meet us at the trail head at 8:00am. To get to the trail head,
take I66 west towards Front Royal. At Exit 18 go north on VA 688 for
about one mile to the parking area on the left.
Please let me know if you plan to meet at the trail head.
