April 28 hike

[MINA GOODRICH]

Tuesday's hike (4/28-8:00am) will be an out and back along the AT starting at the parking lot on VA-725 Tuckers Lane) just north of I-66 and Rte. 55 (PATC Map 8). We will hike north 8miles, have lunch (if it's not too early), and then return the same way for a total of 16 miles and around 3000 feet of elevation gain. Since it is an out and back, it will be easy for anyone wishing less mileage to cut it shorter.

FYI - I hiked this area yesterday. The trilliums are at peak bloom.
