At 8:45am we will start at the Commuter parking on Route 211 east of New Market Gap. (38.641356, -78.590108), take the Massenutten Connector trail for 2.3 miles to the Massenutten Trail for 4.3 miles to a left turn on the Gap Creek Trail for 0. 6 miles to Peach Orchard Gap, hike to Duncan Knob and Return to Peach Orchard Gap. Hike 1.9 miles south via the Scothorn Gap Trail to Scothorn Gap. Then return to start/Parking via the Massenutten trail and Massenutten Connector Trail for another 3.8miles. A total of 13.3 miles with 2,850 feet of ascent.
