Start Point: Old Rag Parking Lot (38° 34' 11.91" N, 78° 17' 16.55" W)
Route Description:
From the Old Rag Parking Lot proceed to the Nicholson Hollow Trail
HIke the Nicholson Hollow Trail to the Hot-Short Mountain Trail
Take the Hot-Short Mountain Trail to the Hazel Mountain Trail.
Turn LEFT on Hazel Mtn Trail and follow it to the Meadow Spring Parking area on Skyline Drive
From the parking area take the Meadow Spring Trail to the AT
Turn LEFT on the AT heading south
Continue on the AT past the Pinnacles pIcnic area to the Corbin Cabin Cut-Off Trail
Take the Corbin Cabin Cut-Off Trail to the Nicholson Hollow Trail
Turn LEFT on Nicholson Hollow Trail and follow it back to the start

Carpool
Hikers who wish to carpool should meet no later than 7AM at the Centerville Park and Ride off I66, exit 52, Centerville. Go West on Rt 29 taking the 2nd right into the parking lot area, then immediately turn left to the corner of the lot where our group gathers.
