Vigorous Hike for Jan 3--Prince William Forest

We will do a counter-clockwise circuit of the Prince William Forest starting on the east side of the park and covering several trails. The two main trails we will do include North Valley and South Valley Trails. The estimated mileage is 17 miles with about 2500' of elevation.  See map attached and please print.
To carpool, meet no later than 7 AM at the Stone Ridge Park and Ride off I-66, exit 52, Centreville.  Go west on Rt. 29, take the second right into the parking lot, then immediately left to the corner of the lot.  Let me know if you plan to meet at the trail head at 8:00 AM.  The entrance to PWF is off of 95 South, just south of rt. 234 exit. Once past the ranger kiosk, take the 2nd left to Pine Grove Picnic Area.
