Hikers for 5 May "Three Ponds" Hike and Additional Info

The "TO" addresses on this note have all "declared" for the hike tomorrow.  As of now, the following have said they will be at the carpool site:  Dave Green, Josh Silverman, Debbie Yee, Gayatri Datta, Robert Groelsema.  Sally had previously advised that she would be there but since she lives in Gainesville she has opted to drive herself since I don't think anyone else is out her way that she can carpool with from there.  If any Centreville carpoolers want to divert into Gainesville to pick her up there feel free to contact Sally directly. 

For those who have not examined the route closely, please be aware that this hike starts out right off the bat with a significant elevation gain of about 1200 feet up the ridge of Great North Mountain right from the trail head.  This is over half of our total elevation gain in the first three and a half miles.

The rest of us (myself, Mina, Sally?) will meet at the hike location.  For anyone else who opts in to the hike after I send this note I will forward it to them with an updated version.

P.S.  Here is another version of the route, in the GPX version from All Trails.  Since my subscription with them has expired it doesn't appear that I can print it out.  Try either one of these and see which prints out best for you.  They aren't the greatest I'll admit.  Otherwise, stick with me on the trail!
