Speaking of time, as of august 13, 2022 after going on and off again in regards to farming i have put in 200 HOURS into tales of graces F. Yes you saw correctly not 100 not 120, 200 hours of playtime.
is the story the best in the series? nah. everything else however i give a 10/10. you already know it but BEST BATTLE SYSTEM EVER, they tried it again with zestiria but it just didn't work. i wish we could get a CC type battle system like graces again but thats unlikely, which is upsetting when graces f has the best battle system in the entire franchise, yes it beats even xillia (xillia has the SECOND best battle system and i will argue you to your death over it) its that damn good, simplistic but OHHHH so satisfying.
..... no i am not making this shit up. there is a sidequest that ties into the circumstances involving lambda, cornell and emmaraude, and while i paraphrased its literally what happened. and despite everything lambda went through, despite EVERYTHING the poor guy just wanted to fucking live. and realistically speaking lambda has done actual good for the graces universe, without lambda there can't be graces, thats how integral his existence is to the plot.
if there's anything i hated about graces f is that.... there will never be another graces f... thats it. graces f is a game that unfortunately will never have a spiritual successor, nothing will ever come close to the level that graces has achieved... not in this generation anyways. this game was meant to be the modern version of tales of destiny DC, a game the west can't play without emulating, so if you want a game thats the closest to destiny DC that you'll ever get graces f is it... but if you're like me you'll never get to experience this masterpiece ever again the same way once you finished.
