All versions of Audition install stuff all over the place - that's partly because of security, but also because Audition has quite a few hooks in the OS in order to work properly. When installers run, they leave a log of what they've done, and that's the basis on which an uninstaller works. Now when you've changed the OS, I'd guess that things are a little different. Nothing is going to look quite the same, and I'm guessing that with Catalina, the CS6 version won't run anyway, because as you said, it's 32-bit and Apple doesn't think enough of you to provide the emulator that Microsoft does with its 64-bit OS...

Ensure that all your files are synced to your Creative Cloud account before running the uninstaller. Files not synced to your Creative Cloud account could be lost. You can check the sync status of your files in the Creative Cloud Files folder. In case you get a sync error, learn how to fix file syncing issues in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

I had Forticlient 6.0 installed in a Windows 10 VM for test purposes. (This is the VPN-only client without the other functions.) However after attempting to uninstall the program via "Programs & Features" it was still there despite no error messages from the uninstaller.

Additionally, the option to exit in the Forticlient system tray icon was greyed out. (Online instructions for uninstalling typically start with "Exit the Forticlient system tray icon".) Attempting to stop Forticlient processes with Task Manager resulted in the stopped processes automatically restarting. The Forticlient scheduler service could not be stopped through the Services panel. The IObit uninstaller was unable to uninstall it. (Removed it from "Programs & Features" but Forticlient was in fact still installed and running.) This thing is like a virus!

Although this appears to have worked I hate to take that kind of sledgehammer approach - for future reference what is the best way to uninstall Forticlient when the built-in uninstaller doesn't do the job?

Hello,

My ESET Antivirus have that yellow disclaimer for few days now so I've seen notification about my version (8.0.2028) expiration date in November 22, is this going to stand there until November?
I've tried to fix by installing version 9, but i can't do it. Whenever I try to uninstall older version or install new, I get error message.
"We cannot find the installation of ESET Endpoint Antivirus in Windows Installer Database. After Clicking OK, ESET Install Helper will run to restore ESET Endpoint Antivirus entries."
Canceling doesn't do anything, clicking OK gets me to another "ESET Endpoint Antivirus restore unsuccessful where I can click only on "Finish".
Tried to use esetuninstaller.exe from Safe mode but I all got was another error message that this software doesn't support my version of Windows (Windows 10 Pro, 21H2)

Tried to uninstall by using command prompt as administrator and running msiexec /X (with software code from regedit) but that didn't help me too.
What else can I try?

Assuming you selected the default folder when you installed MATLAB, navigate to C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2023b\uninstall\bin\win64. If you installed in a different folder, navigate there instead. Double-click the uninstaller executable, uninstall.exe.

If you also want to remove your MATLAB user preferences, click the Uninstall MATLAB preference files (including Command History) check box. By default, the uninstaller does not delete these preference files. MATLAB preference files contain your environment settings, such as command history and Help favorites. To find where MATLAB stores your preferences, use the prefdir command at the MATLAB prompt, as in the following example:

(Optional) Choose whether to delete download archive files. If your MATLAB installation folder contains the archive files for downloaded products, the uninstaller displays a message asking if you want to delete these archive files. The installer stores these archive files in the matlabroot\archives folder of your installation. To remove these files, click Yes.

To proceed with the removal, click the Uninstall button. The uninstaller displays the status of the operation as it progresses and displays a dialog box when the operation is complete. Click Finish to exit the uninstaller. When you uninstall a MATLAB installation, the uninstaller displays a dialog box suggesting that you deactivate the installation. For more information about deactivation, see Deactivate Your Installation.

Open your uninstaller properties file using any text editor, and enter values for all the specified parameters. For example, you can specify the name of the output log file using the outputFile= parameter. The template contains detailed descriptions of each parameter with examples.

By default, the uninstaller removes all the products in a particular MATLAB installation, however, you can specify which products to delete. In the product list in the template, remove the comment character at the beginning of the product name. In silent mode, if you specify a product for deletion that is not one of your installed products, the uninstaller exits and writes a message to your log file. If you specified mode=automated, the uninstaller displays the Product Selection dialog box and pauses, waiting for you to adjust the product selection.
