I just saw this really weird story on Global TV - notice the date. Can this be just an "honest mistake"?

Are mistakes ever "honest"? in this industry.

Also - on the BBC this morning, the BBC (radio) made a point of telling us that Tony Blair will be questioned by 4 knights and one baroness. I could not figure it out - but I thought that it was extremely odd. Here is the audio.(attached).

Its so fake 3010 they can’t even get the year right.  By the way is it me or does this man not look a day older since he was blamed for the incident.  He must have found the fountain of youth up in those mountains.

Dude - that is all library footage, the media is really good at
putting these up to give you a visual to focus on. What effect would a
story like this have, without the face of terror staring out balefully
at you - looking directly at you the viewer/reader..

By the way, when the BBC is airing a news story about "terror", they
love to use some library footage of a multitude of people, walking
around in the dark, being viewed by night-vision. They say on the
thing that it is "library footage", but it does not help. Your average
couch potato viewer will still come away with the idea that
a) there are a lot of these people out there, wanting to do harm to
us.
b) they can move around in the dark with no problems (we need night-
vision in order to see them).

Kind of like a swarm of termites or bees, really.
