qustodio makes children hates their parents as their parents think it is right to download this app to track their son or daughter and restrict their children from inappropriate things. but that doesnt happen! the app controls almost all the apps and then therefore restrict to watch youtube even. i ( a child who has parents who downloaded qustodio on my phone ) is feeling very annoyed as they even restricted peppa pig! and said it was porn. and not only that it messes with the wifi and my netflix , roblox , youtube app. and it takes up storage too. i highly recommend to ban this app before they start getting frustrated that they cant use certain apps and stuff and blame it on their parents and make arguments in the household and then make the atmosphere bad and makes one another hate each other and stressed.
My son has qustodio and was having this same issue with Minecraft. I e-mailed qustodio customer service and was given a very quick response with a procedure that solved the problem! My son is now back to using Minecraft. I hope it works for you, here is the text from the e-mail:
Same thing happened on my kids computer. Games other than minecraft, like Battlefield 4 and PVZ are also affected. Once I noticed the SSL error, and realizing that qustodio intercepts SSL traffic to perform a MITM "attack", I uninstalled qustodio. With qustodio gone, everything works again. Sadly I just paid for another year of qustodio, and I don't know why they broke it recently, but that was the issue.
