Dear Colleagues:
The ADB is supporting the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) through a technical assistance project: TA-7566 - Strengthening and Use of Country Safeguard Systems. Under the TA-7566 framework, a Country Safeguard Systems Capacity Action Plan 2012-2015 (CSS CAP) has been prepared which outlines Government needs and possible responses to support the implementation of the revised Circular and Decree on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Protection Commitment (EPC).
You are invited to participate in a consultation workshop on the CSS CAP on May 11, 2012 at 14h00, at MONRE office, room 701, 85 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hanoi. The objectives of this workshop are to: (i) present the draft of CSS CAP; and (ii) invite development partner comment on the proposed activities in advance of the plan's final revision. The workshop agenda is attached for your information. The draft CSS CAP will be circulated for your advance review on 3rd May.
