And here's a story on the actual commemoration at Dien Bien Phu.   AP's story was so light-weight I won't even bother posting it. 

Interesting how France is making this part of their 'tilt to Asia' gig at the moment with Defence Minister Lecornu present.  "En avant, alors, La France!"   Out of Africa and back to Asia then.
