It's my pleasure to pass along this message from Denis Gray about his long-awaited memoir, mostly about his Cambodian War days which is where we worked most closely together with the AP.   Clearly, this belongs on your reading list!

Here's the word:

The core of my memoire is the Cambodian War and was in part written to honor the brave, loyal Cambodian photographers and reporters  who worked for the AP and other media organizations. As you know almost all of them were killed in the Khmer Rouge reign of terror.

Among the colleagues I write about include Matt Franjola, Arnett, Faas, George Esper, Beth Becker, Rockoff, Tim Page, Jim Laurie, Glen McDonald, Saul Lockhart, Edie Lederer, Martin Stuart-Fox and even Carl Robinson.

The attached press kit from the publisher describes the book pretty well.

     Many thanks. All the best.Denis
