As someone not directly involved, I still think as I have for some time, that it's  past time to tell the nice HCM and foreign ministry people that public disclosure and an assortment of published press stories would be best --  and then go ahead and do it. Organise a campaign, why not?

It would probably be another 24-hour news cycle story,  but then what isn't? And making those lovely  hosts of the 50th anniversary mob-up a bit embarrassed might even get one or two of them off their asses to do something -- before the 51st anniversary.

It might seem a trifling issue but it's not. It's a national disgrace.
