BBC Vietnamese journo returns to passport & ID confiscation.

Here's something of interest involving a viet journo friend from Bangkok-based BBC Vietnamese who went home to see family & renew her passport and stopped at airport with passport & ID card confiscated, later interrogation.   My Substack explains details & how it's gone public.   As most of you know, BBC is banned in Vietnam. 

This hurts when it's somebody you know.  Press is under lots of pressure in VN also these days. 

She went home to renew her passport. They kept her.
