I have all the slides and negs of Jerry Rose (1933-1965), who worked
for Time, and was listed in REQUIEM, and Newseum. Would like to share
my experience after working with Newseum. Hope to make a photo book
of Viet Nam combining his and mine.

Next March I’ll complete 30 years rephotographing Viet Nam. March
2019 will also mark 50 years since I left Viet Nam the first time,
March 1969, as an air force sgt., forward air control team, living
with US (III Corps) and Vietnamese armies (IV Corps).

Went to the American Wars in Iraq (’08) and Afghanistan (’09) as a
freelance photographer due to the high rate of emotional wounds
(“PTSD”) and suicides.

Currently finishing my photographic memoir, One Soldier’s Heart: The
Emotional Wounds of War.
