Fyi, everyone: I've posted a couple Substacks over the past week about my early post-Saigon '75 period which wasn't a happy time for any of us, I don't think. I'm calling these my 50-year Epilogue and I've got plenty of material!

The first plays on AP's calling me 'disgruntled' in its two reports on the you-know-what story and I think you'll definitely get an idea of the sorta' welcome & stuff I got at AP HQs in NY.

Let me tell you what things were like at AP in NY after the Fall of Saigon. "Disgruntled?"

In the second, things at home were even worse, especially after we finally heard what'd happened to KD's father. Grim times, indeed.

Now with AP in NY - and devastating news finally arrives from Vietnam

But I stumbled on - as did we all, eh?
