An annual survey of 'elites' in Southeast Asia has just been published by Singapore's ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute and showing a majority now favouring China over the US since last year's survey.
Here is a good summary story:
Not surprisingly, however, the Philippines and Vietnam are at the top of the exceptions at 83.3% and 79% respectively, with Singapore, Myanmar and Cambodia still a majority.
And again, these are 'elites' and not man/woman in the street sort of polling.
Best regards,
Carl
