I don’t doubt the US tried biowarfare in Korea  to win. I know of one court case that was dropped when records were subpoenaed regarding war crimes in Korea on biowarfare. However it is a funny article title

So in this book about my third cousin twice removed it mentions two journalists Sylvia and Bill Powell who published the China Monthly Review. It closed in 1953 but they wrote an article for a Portland newspaper stating biological warfare was used in the Korean War. Since the defense department refused to release documents a mistrial was declared in 1959. Sorry I don’t know more. I trust the authors but that is because I am biased due to the family history.

I don't know why you're having a go at the author of this piece, David and also Don for your quick dismissal of this as Chinese propaganda.  The fact is these pilots were given permission by their superiors to reveal their BW activities to avoid unnecessary torture and then prosecuted and threatened afterwards to recant and some used in reverse brainwashing techniques.  And the media at the time knew full well the US was using BW over North Korea and not only suppressed that but helped create the entire Chinese Reds brainwashing narrative the public and Hollywood lapped up. My friend George Burchett's father Wilfred had his life and career totally destroyed by America's ever-eager ally Australia.

And the damn thing is America is still doing shit like this all around the world.

Wilfred Buchett led a great life getting his books published in Hano. He and his wife had a lovely home in Phnom Penh, with a pet bear chained up outside,where I interviewed him, and also chatted with journos around the Hotel Royale pool. No way was his career destroyed. If anything, enhanced, lionized, made famous.

But Burchett was not allowed to return to his home country of Australia until 1972.

Yes, but let's not forget Burchett  interrogated prisoners of war including Aussies in North Korea during the Korean War at the behest of brutal NK masters  He goes back a long way.
