Remembering Dang Van Phuoc.

HI, everyone.  

I did post a corrective here to AP's obit on AP's Dang Van Phuoc last week and decided to write this Substack over the weekend.  My main point is how badly treated he was by AP who then claim him back after his death. And, of course, they never checked with old timers who actually knew him, aside from Nick Ut, but can't say they'd have run that angle in any case.

Oh, and in reply to Lew Simons, he worked at a photo studio and later, I believe, set up his own.   His greatest love were those two kids, a daughter and then the son who tragically died at only 18.  He was devastated.
