Players can earn up to 60 points (PTS) from season completion rewards by winning Forzathon challenges, seasonal events, challenges, and monthly events listed in the Festival Playlist. Points earned during a season contribute towards total points for the player's overall series progression.
Events listed during the season in the Festival Playlist can only be completed during their period of availability. Players can not earn points for a season either before or after it is available, although monthly events completed during any season count as a completion in all seasons of a series.
Players can earn up to 60 points from Summer / Wet Season completion rewards by winning challenges, events, PR Stunts, and monthly challenges listed in the Festival Playlist. Earning 53 points is required to complete the season.
Every week, Forza Horizon 5 switches seasons, which means there are brand-new Season Challenges available to complete. Doing so will give you access to all kinds of rewards, including two hard-to-find or exclusive cars for total progress. Each month-long series also has two rare cars for players to earn over the course of the month.
Each set of challenges presents its own set of races and requirements players must adhere to. With how quickly each season moves in and out of rotation, you'll need to have a nice stockpile of cars so that you can meet the requirements of each race. To that end, we recommend checking out our various Car Lists and getting yourself at least one from each category.
While the races and requirements vary from season to season, you can expect relatively similar objectives each season. The first thing you'll notice is a Weekly Challenge that asks you to buy a specific car and then race it around completing different objectives. It's not just the type and model that matter here, you also have to tune it to the required class (eg: A 800).
Then, you'll have seven Daily Challenges that are all relatively simple and a call to go complete some Horizon Arcade Mini Games. You'll also get one or two larger races and a Seasonal Playground Game. Next, you'll get three different types of PR Stunts and three racing championships alongside a co-op race.
Once a season is complete, you can no longer access its challenges or its rewards. The points you earn count towards the entire series. You don't have to wait for the series to end to claim rewards, so be sure to check your progress on the Series tab as well.
As you can see, you'll need a wide array of different car types. Because these objectives are changing weekly, you'll need to keep stockpiling if you want to keep up. That said, you should keep in mind that you can always tune your cars to fit the max rating. This will let you use what you have, while still being successful.
You can also complete the single-player races on lower difficulties, making them relatively easy to finish. That said, we've put together a few lists that should give you the cars you need to get through most of these races. Click or tap the links below to jump to the correct list.
Midnights at Horizon is bringing lots of new events and challenges to players in Forza Horizon 5, including a fresh Treasure Hunt and an accompanying riddle. \"Shelby Coming Down the Mountain\" is a clever name for a Treasure Hunt that may pose a sizeable challenge to some players. It comes with the clue \"She's a beauty to behold, you must drift sideways to win gold!\" If you complete it, you'll earn 3 Playlist Points and 100 Forzathon Points.
In order to complete this Treasure Hunt, you'll need to own a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C. This may disqualify some players, as this car costs a hefty 2.1 million Credits in the Autoshow if you don't already have it in your collection. Those who can acquire or already own a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C can race to La Gran Caldera, where your goal is to earn 3 Stars at the Cara Este Drift Zone PR Stunt.
This Drift Zone is understandably intimidating given its size, but the 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C is unstable out the gate to be a suitable drifting machine. Start from the top and drift down the mountain for a much easier time, and don't rush things! Once you've earned 3 Stars (500,000 or more points), the search area for the Treasure Chest will be revealed.
The area may indicate the Treasure Chest can be found anywhere within or surrounding the El Estadio area, but it couldn't be easier to spot. Simply drive to the center of the stadium and the \"Shelby Coming Down the Mountain\" Treasure Chest will be waiting for you. Smash it with your vehicle, and you'll complete the Treasure Hunt and earn your rewards.
