Nice article on an underrated console. Ninja Golf is one of my favorite games on the system, as is Centipede TB, a homebrew trak ball compatible version of Centipede. Once composite modified, the 7800 is the best way to experience 2600 games.
All things said are true, the RF Adapter, would get interference more than a Sega or a NES. The controller was awful and hurt your hand with prolonged use, the only advantage of the controller was for left handed players, still was hated by all.
Games, if u bought 7800 for only 7800 games, then you either got the best of the arcade from the 2600 days, which if you have asteroids 2600 do you really want a newer version, or some of the weirdest games you have ever seen, scrapyard dog was their answer to super Mario bros.
