2 Outlook Accounts On Iphone

Hiwe manage our users's iPhone devices via Intune. Is it possible to enroll the device, then have 2 different Office 365 accounts login to Outlook for iOS app? We require the CEO and CFO's assistant to be able to access their boss's mail, calendar as well as their own.

Do you mean that you want to the CxO and the CxO-assistant to share an iPhone - like the CxO passes her/his phone to the assistant and says "free up some time next Thursday for a meeting with company".?

Unless you really mean that they would share the phone, you probably want the outlook client being managed with MDM/MAM to support delegated access to other mailboxes. I.e. have CxO-assistant read bosses email and manage the calendar while logged in as the assistant.

You may not be aware but Exchange and thus Office 365 has the ability to have "delegate" permissions, with some use cases specifically designed for CxO assistants. (see -us/article/Allow-someone-else-to-manage-your-mail-and-calendar-9684B67...

Of course if the assistants are not restricted to iOS - say they carry/use a tablet or PC then you could use full Outlook 2016 with either multiple mailboxes open (using delegation) or using multiple profiles with two logins, or use web mail with multiple browsers - one for CxO and one for assistant's mailbox.

I am employee to an consultancy company where we use O365 account and I was working to a client work and Client company is also using O365. If I want to see emails on this both either i need to remove one account in my phone , its really painfull. We cannot carry two Iphone in hand, Since O365 was accepted globally in all major company and converting towards it MS , needs to redesign and come up with new solutions. Not only outlook , MS teams , Onedrive and other office tools all are affected .

@Kumarakrishnan - I second your thoughts. I work for an IT Managed Service Provider. A few of our accounts are managing their devices with inTune and we have individual email accounts for most of our clients. Our company and pour clients require us to use Outlook only. Are we expected to carry 1 phone for each client?

It seems that since updating to iOS 17.1.1 my iPhone 12 Pro keeps asking for my outlook.com email password. I have deleted and recreated the account and rebooted my iPhone but the issue continues. I also deleted the account and re-recreated it as an exchange account (still using the outlook.com address). No help. Any help is appreciated. This is also happening on my iPad running ipados 17.1.1.

I had a live.com account that was giving the pop-up (but still loading messages in Mail) so I knew the password was entered correctly. What fixed it for me was re-adding it as an Outlook account in Mail Settings, rather than Microsoft Exchange. Not exactly your issue but possibly related.

I really don't think this is an ios 17 issue since it's doing it with ios 16 also. I have the Outlook app on my phone and I receive mail and don't get asked for a password. I think it's probably and issue with the iPhone mail app.

This situation was happening me with my outlook accounts across my MacBook, iMac and iPhone. What fixed it for me was deleting each of the accounts and re adding them. However, on my MacBook and iMac I added the outlook accounts as 'Microsoft Exchange' and on my iPhone I added it as 'Outlook'. Hope this helps some people out.

I don't use the mail app. I go unto the outlook website with chrome and check my email there. I have the same message popping up on my screen to enter my outlook password in settings. I went to settings > contacts > accounts > outlook. It said my password needed to be reauthorized. I entered it in and the messaged doesn't pop up anymore

Apple has to fix. Potentially, as one user suggested, an update to your device app might fix. I know I'm certainly getting tired of this. I think it's more a Microsoft problem than a Mac one. I have the same problem, but only with my two Microsoft email accounts. Been going on, off and on, for years, but only with the Outlook/Microsoft accounts. No such problem with my Mac email or Gmail or Yahoo accounts. (Yeah, I have way too many email accounts!)
