I mean you should try.

If it works with 5.6.1 everything is fine. If it's does not, it's worth trying with 6.0.0a6 (installable from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/versions/) in case this one of the few F4F streaming cases that have been fixed.

If it does not work, the reason is probably the site is streaming in RTMP and there is nothing we can do.

Wistia video does not download with newer verions of firefox;  VDH does not see the video until I click on it; then it calls it HLS streaming  0:03 - mp4   and downloads 1K into a .part file.   It ends there; the download does not show up in the firefox download history.   This occurs with firefox 49.0.2 on win 7 32 bit and firefox 45.3.0.   with firefox 38.1.1 on win 7 64 bit vdh works fine .  all these are with vdh 6.1.1.

as a cumbersome work around here is  a  link to a 'how to'  on reverting back to an older version of firefox:

I was doing the Firefox 38.1.1 workaround.
(I uninstall firefox.  install FF38, download my videos, uninstall FF 38, and reinstall latest FF.  - not my favorite way to do this)
But then on 2/5/17, I updated all my VDH and converters and it worked perfectly.
now it's 2/24/17 and it doesn't work again.
Firefox 51.0.1
VDH 6.2.0

Converter installed 3.2a2
--although I still get this message:

Update converter to version 3.2a2
And the link to Recheck Converter does not work.
