This is a known error. The devs are aware of it.

Was hoping the Beta would have fixed it, but not as of yet.

When I have downloaded some of these 4K variants using the approach you can find in a
thread on here with the title

How to download from YouTube

I have found that ffmpeg throws up an error on the audio track. The 4K video track
usually presents no problem for ffmpeg but the audio track contains some sort of
non-standard coding at some point & ffmpeg just stops downloading the audio at that
point. This seems to be a problem unique to the audio tracks of YouTube's 4K content.
It's as if they intentionally put a little glitch into the audio track for the specific
purpose of thwarting downloading.

But if you use the other approach detailed in that other thread & use Firefox's own Save
Audio As function, it reads the full audio track no problem.

All of this to explain that the solution to this within VDH is not going to be easy & it
has not yet been addressed. This is an area of intense investigation at the moment but
no solution is available yet. There will be an announcement when this is solved. Until
then, you have the option of the approach I've offered. Or you can just do without. Or
you can be content with the lower resolutions, which VDH has been able to download just
fine for some months now.

There has been some progress on this one. You need to be preparing yourself to switch
away from this Google Group & start monitoring this page:

https://github.com/aclap-dev/video-downloadhelper/discussions?discussions_q=

If you want VDH support, it will be provided in a new location. This Google Group will
not be erased but GitHub will be the focus of VDH support from now on.

There has been some progress on the short audio issue. You need to go over to the GitHub
forum to find it.
