Download helper doesn't recognize video

I tried asianmilfhub.com.  I run all of scripts before video appeared and when video started I got a message that this video is not recognized.  I tried Page Info @ Firefox and found out that video private (blob:: and so on).  If I am able to downoload a video I get copy URL and post in jDownloader.  Unfortunately this trick is not work

I tried one and after all annoying popups had a HLS stream which seems to start downloading well.

I tried Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi, and Waterfox.  I can get only sponsor's small video

I tried to test this site out but I can't even get a video to play. The play button never shows. The site itself is full of ads and popups,and vdh seems to detect hits for those ads on the right of the page. If you're getting hits for those ads just delete them in vdh.

Maybe try forcing the site to show a mobile version with an extension to change user agent and see if at all this helps.

I tried to get a link from network traffic but I am not able to do it.   I tried different add-ons but they don't recognize a stream at this site.   It is interesting that other videos from this site don't have this crazy protection (at least I didn't find such videos).

Yes this particular is video is using a secure way of streaming that makes it impossible to download. Someone made a post in this forum on the

same problem. Look for abyss.to

For downloading there is a download button on the video player , click that to get directed to another page to download.

I understand that they use a secret way.   I believe they don't use encryption of a stream like paid TV channels because they don't need it but they just hide a path to stream.  Therefore you can not see it using standard Firefox/Chrome developer tools.  I guess that authors browser download video helper plug-in use this trick.   Such tools like yt-dlp or jDownloader just get decrypted link and download video using ffmpeg scripts (and optimize codec if it is possible).

That was vague, if you continue to click the download icon on the player, after about another 8 adds loading you get a page that states 11.28 gig file, the actual size is over 5 gig.

Also, downloads from that site are not resumable, you'll only get a partial download, for some reason a site like that's server will end the download
