When i download some videos from Vimeo, like this https://vimeo.com/146138253 , if i download it with firefox 39 and VDH 6.0 it plays perfect in Quicktime; but if i do this with firefox 47 and VDH 6.0, the same video is jerky and jumpy. Please help!

I must say i am surprised this depends on the Firefox version.
Anyway, the jumpy issue with Quicktime is known and commented in several topics in this forum. Workarounds are to either use another player like VLC or to convert the video to make QT play it smoothly.

How would one convert the video? To what? I am having the same problem with all of the Vimeo videos I attempt to download. Using latest version of Firefox and VDH, have latest version of QT. Same thing.. jumpy, very fast video movements. Audio fine. Youtube fine... just Vimeo.

My previous comment remains. You may want to use VLC (or almost any other video player) or convert the video (to whatever format, like MP4/H264+AAC) using the VDH converter or any other.

Just want to confirm that downloading from Vimeo with firefox 39 (still available just google it) solves this problem. Thanks Alex for the tip.
