Hello,

I am on Win10 21H1. I have the Chrome license and using Chrome Version 96.0.4664.110. I also have Firefox version 95.0.1. I am using VDH 7.6.0 in both browsers. I am using the following CoApp: VdhCoApp 1.6.3 for both browsers.

Problem Statement: I am able to download the video with Firefox, but not with Chrome. My preference is to use Chrome since I have a license for Chrome. Chrome gives the message of unable to detect the video, whereas Firefox can. I have attached screenshots from both browsers.

Is there anything I can do to make this work in Chrome?

One additional note, I noticed on the Chrome extension page that it supports DASH videos, so I verified DASH was enabled for the Chrome VDH extension and it was.

I can't let such a complete problem report pass without expressing my appreciation for
it. Perhaps you've actually read this:

So many people seem to have missed it.

I had to try the page whose URL you gave. I saw one short video at various resolutions,
one of which I successfully downloaded, & it played fine. But that was on Firefox so I'm
not really doing anything but confirming your observation. I don't have Chrome so I
can't comment on that. Somebody else is going to have to step in to help you with that.

Hi,

hard to tell, if you are talking about the video on the home page, it worked for me with Chrome. But sometimes we don't have same results depending on the region we live in.
And I'm not using Windows, so ...

Any suggestions? Does anyone have Chrome in the US they can also test it on?

It's really strange. I'm using MS Edge in the US.

If i left-click on the VDH icon, I get the download option for a millisecond, but then they are replaced by "no media to ,process in the current page" message. Maybe once in 10 times I see the download options. This is what the OP is seeing

If I right-click on the icon, I get a drop-down list. Selecting the second item in the list gets me the download options in the format that I would have gotten if the site had not disabled right-click on the video.
