to Video DownloadHelper Q&A
Hello,
I installed all the necessary software for DWHelper. The download works fine but when I start the Video I have clicking sounds and after 1 or 2 minutes the sound is completely gone. When I start the Video new and skip forward to the moment where I lost the sound I get the sound back but after 1 or 2 more minutes, I lose the sound again.

If someone could guarantee the DWHelper would work propper when I buy the license for the converter, okay but I think the video should work without converting, right ?

If someone knows why the sound issues appears and could tell me how to fix I would be happy.
Thanks in advance :)

This sounds like an interesting case that I'd like to research. Sadly, you haven't
provided the right kind of information for doing that. To find out what the right kind
of information is, click this:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/BzPLK2YyL-s

That's one you should probably bookmark because you'll want to refer to it a lot. I
recommend you read all of that, if not now in one sitting, eventually over time. For
now, there's some text strings on that page that I want you to find.

First, search (browser function F3 or Ctrl-f) for the string "problem report" on that
page. That will reposition the page to 2 references containing links. Click each link,
read what it says, & follow the advice.

Next, search for the string "stealth quote" on that page. That will show you another
link you should click. Be sure to follow that advice when you next post here.

Next, search for the string "philosophy" on that page. That will show you another link
you should click. It is a discussion of the VDH license. It reinforces your wise
decision to test drive this software before you buy a license. Let's figure out why you
are seeing what you are seeing before you make your buying decision. It is hardly ever
the case that buying a VDH license has the slightest effect on whatever problem you are
observing, & that discussion will make it clear why that is so. So let's get to the
bottom of your issue & then you can decide whether you want a VDH license.

Note how I'm not using the word "converter." The VDH web site is woefully out of date.
You have apparently been doing your best to make heads or tails of what you read there
but you are better off relying on what you can find here in this forum. There has not
been a VDH "converter" for a few years now. What is on offer is simply the VDH license.
If you've been using software for any length of time, you surely have encountered the
situation of a programmer who is really good at writing code but not so great at writing.
So, minor details like user documentation & a useful web site take a permanent back seat
to fixing bugs & adding features to the code. You should never be surprised when you
stumble upon such a situation. Annoyed, perhaps. But surprised? Never.
