Video Download Helper Is Not Downloading a Full File

I am running Firefox 52.5.0  32 bit and Video Download helper 6.3.3.   I have a problem where if I download an mp3 file the completed and saved file size is only 246.4K even if the file is much bigger. I am only getting the first few seconds of hour long radio shows. I notice that mp4 files are only 1K long. Looking back it seems that this problem started back at the end of August / beginning of February.  I have a directory full of 247K mp3 files. Before August everything was working fine.

I just performed a complete clean install of Firefox going back to the Firefox 52.5 ESR version but the problem is still with me. I tried VD Helper v 6.2.0 but I had the same problems.  I don't know what else to try

I am running Win 7 Pro 64 bit
