I finally upgraded to FF 58.0.1, VDH 7.1.2, coapp 1.1.3 and tried downloading single mp4 dramas from the Kissasian and Dramacool sites. Since I commented before, thought I would update.
- you must download the coapp, at least 1.1.3 and change the Download Processor to Companion App under the gear settings.
- I changed the Max concurrent from 6 to 4 to reduce the number processing at one time
- when you first select the 3 ball icon after playing the video, move the cursor over the right arrow then select, in the next window, check the "use this action as default" before you select "Download"...you will now be presented a SaveAs TAB that you change the folder and file name. You MUST enter the .mp4 extension on the SaveAs name or file will not play. You can rename the file to add .mp4 after download is complete
- with the coapp interface, you can SaveAs into a new folder, have the folder stay up till changed, and download and Que many files. I had 4 downloads and 6 Queued. Completed files appear in the box.
- for tracking the progress, the VDH dialog box's Running Blue button will display the progress, %, file size and time remaining. There is a slide progress bar too. The downward pointing arrow tracking that was available in 6.3 no longer exist, unless you choose not to use the coapp.
- I also checked the AutoPin box in the Settings. This tracked the completed videos under the Black button on the bottom of the VDH window. The Blue is the Running, and a Red is for Failed/error. This window cannot be left open for continuous tracking like the previous down pointing arrow.
- if you choose not to download the coapp, or chose the Browser for the Download Processor, you will need to select the folder name every time you process a file. Also, the SaveAs box will stop appearing after you max # of downloads (in my case, 4). You will, however, get a save as box appearing after one of the 4 file finishes. You would then enter you folder/filename and wait till the next one finishes. You can stack many downloads, but will only get a SaveAs box appearing after one completes. No good, especially if you want to Que many files and don't want to wait to enter names. USE the coapp interface instead....less hassle especial if you are doing many downloads
- use the Tab as you "file Dialog"....this pops a new tab on you window for the SaveAs...the Windows choice will pop a new window...but this window is unstable...closes when picking entries
