Hi,

I used this add-on for years, and a few days ago I noticed that it stopped working on the website Mediaite.com.

What happens is that when the add-on is enabled, videos on Mediaite.com won't even play at all, let alone have the option to download them.

I notice when I disable the add-on, I can play the videos on Mediaite.com again.

Is this some problem with the latest version, or did Mediaite.com block the add-on somehow?

Thank you! :)

UPDATE:

Okay, I have downgraded from 5.6.0 --> 5.5.0, and I can confirm that the problem is gone.

I can once again both view and download videos on Mediaite.com without any issues.

So the problem is definitely with the latest version 5.6.0! Thank you, and I hope you can get it fixed so I can use the latest version again :)

I have the exact same problem at worldsbk.com beginning a week or so ago.  Videos will not play, all I get is an unresponsive black video box with no error messages or anything.  I figured out that the problem is the latest VDH because when I disable it, videos play fine again.  Hope you fix this fast!!!  I will keep VDH disabled for now.  I don't care about downloading videos at this site (I have a membership), I just want to PLAY the videos and VDH is preventing this on the entire web site.  I thought it had something to do with the latest Firefox update 46.0.1, but like I said, all works fine after VDH is disabled.

Okay sorry, just read some of the other posts.  PROBLEM SOLVED for now by disabling F4F.
(VDH Settings/More/Chunked Streaming: disable F4F by unchecking the box for "F4F enabled")

Thank you Michel.
