I purchased a lifetime premium subscription for my chrome and firefox browsers back in 2019. I recently installed the Brave browser, and noted that VDH had installed itself from the chrome webstore as well. However, when I tried to use it a bit, it asked me for my premium license information, and when I went back to chrome to get it, all it would tell me is that I had it for that browser, but not what the license key was. How do I get the Brave browser to recognize the premium status of my chrome store account? If I buy another license, will this work, or is there a way to get the chrome license to work on all chrome based browsers on this computer? What am I missing here?

I don't use Chrome so I'm going to put forward some guesses & you can take them for what
they're worth, which isn't much. Start here:

Be sure you carefully read the first 2 paragraphs there. Once you have read that, you
can check out the references within that web page that I am about to give you. But don't
just find the relevant link & click it. READ the context around the link.

Next, look for "lost" within the text of that web page. That will give you a link to
click. That might give you your license. MIGHT. Since you've got licenses for both
Firefox & Chrome, it might give you only your Firefox license number, which will most
certainly not work in Chrome (or Brave). There have been a few reports in here of people
not getting their Chrome license from this method.

Next, look for "philosophy" within the text of that web page. That will give you a link.
Click that to learn all about the VDH license. While you are reading that, you will see
some links to yet other discussions. Be sure to click those links & read those secondary
discussions. They contain important information that will add to your understanding of
the VDH license, what it is, what it does, & what it does not do. You've had 2 licenses
so you probably know all of that, but there might be some new ideas in there, you never
know. One specific issue deals with the Chrome license. In the discussion of the VDH
license, there is one mention of the old Chrome license. That secondary discussion might
apply to you. In which case, you will need Jérôme's help. You might speed things up by
sending an E-mail to Jérôme, a step I mention in the larger license discussion.

Next, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice, not just for
your posts in this thread, not just for your posts in this forum, but for your posts
anywhere on Google Groups.
