Maybe I was lucky that I stumbled upon something that I could play. You should be more
specific about what video you want to download. In any case, I had no useful information
from this page until I hit the play button in the video player on that page.

The problem here has nothing whatsoever to do with the length of the video. Using the
usual techniques, that is to say, techniques we lay out here:

I was able to determine that this content is provided as a DASH stream. The Network
Monitor showed a .mpd DASH master manifest directly. No tricks necessary. It showed up
in the Network Monitor. So I started to download it with ffmpeg. I was getting a truly
awful download speed. It was going to take more than a half hour to get the whole thing
so I stopped it early. As you can see in the attached log, I had gotten only 10 minutes
of the slightly over hour & a half of this video after downloading for a little more than
4 minutes. On sites that give decent download speeds, I would have gotten most if not
all of this video in that much time. In any case, the 10 minutes of content I had
downloaded played fine in VLC with both audio & video. I didn't actually sit & watch
this, just sampled it at intervals to make sure it had both audio & video. The manifest
leads you to believe that the audio track is English. It is not. The guy giving the
lecture is speaking what I would guess is Hindi, a language I don't speak. I am sure if
I had let the download complete normally, I would have had the complete video.

This is a straightforward DASH stream. No tricks, no gimmicks. It just so happens that
VDH does not support this type of content. Yet. It is my understanding that the devs (I
do not work for VDH myself) are working on this. But for the time being, VDH can't
handle this content. So you have a choice. You can wait some unknown period of time for
VDH to handle this content, during which time you will not download any of this content.
Or you can read the thread in this forum whose URL I just cited & learn how to use ffmpeg
to download today all the videos you want from this site. Your choice.
