Twitter's Transforms to X - Cannot download videos

In the past, I would switch between iTube Studio or Video Downloadhelper to download videos from Twitter. But since the transition to X it appears that there have been changes to the code that is preventing either app from working. With Video Downloadhelper, I'm getting an error message in red text: MP2T - No data received. Please advise, thank you.

I think that is irrelevant that they changed to X, I believe it was still a problem when they were called twitter. And here's why.

Twitter / X is one of the few sites I've seen that uses HLS streaming along with fragmented mp4 files, not .ts segments.  

Also changing the setting to M2TS does not help.

For this reason I don't think VDH supports this type of streaming yet. Perhaps the devs will add support for it at some point.

Other tools like yt-dlp or ffmpeg work.
