Hi Team,

Unable to download the videos, as the video format option is not coming while downloading. It used to work fine for me till last month without any issues..

I am using the chrome browser, reloaded the video downloader extension and Companion App.

Please help out at the earliest.

What you've posted is no help at all. In fact, you've intentionally obscured details
that might be relevant. If you want help, you need to post the URL of at least one video
that is not working for you. This has to be a video that is not protected by a paywall &
it has to be a video that you don't need to sign up for a membership to get even if the
membership is free. It has to be like what you can get off YouTube. Anybody has to be
able to look at it without signing in to any sort of account. But we need the URL of the
video. No other information is really needed. Just the URL of the web page where the
video is located.

Hi,

URL is from Udemy for Business, and for some lectures the download option is coming correctly but for some video this issue is popping up.

As I can send the URL link on public forum, that is the reason the I haven't shared the URL earlier.

Thanks

unfortunately there is probably no solution for your site, the little parts your receive mean it won't work, we don't have the aggregation info.

Dear all,
apologize if it is in the wrong thread.
I want to donwload offline a video from Udemy Business. I've read a lot but nothing seams to be working.
Any advice or beta release that can solve this ?

Thanks

There have been reports on here of sites that do not allow VDH for Chrome to download
from them but VDH for Firefox works.  We recently had a report of exactly that situation
with Hotmart, which is, if I understand things correctly, a similar site to Udemy.  So
you should try to use Firefox, VDH for Firefox release 8.1.0.0a8 beta, & CoApp release
2.0.7.  These are the latest releases as of this moment.  Of course, if you go looking
for the extension & the CoApp & you find newer releases, use them.  You can find helpful
instructions in these threads:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/jRjBH5lDctw
https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/guxm6mUhm8s

Be sure you carefully read every word of the instructions in there, display every
attached image, & follow the instructions to the letter.  Don't skim.  Don't skip
anything.  Be careful & concentrate.

If Udemy still doesn't work, oh well, you gave it your best shot.  Since Udemy is a site
that requires a paid subscription, the VDH developers can't investigate it, nor can
fellow users (such as myself).  You are pretty much on your own trying to make this work.
You should be prepared to fail, but hope for the best.

If you can't get VDH to work on Udemy, search this forum for a thread with "too fast" in
its title.  That thread explains some alternative techniques for downloading from sites
on which VDH does not work.  Understand, that thread explains how to download content NOT
using VDH.  Once again, nobody here is going to be able to show you how to make those
techniques work because we can't get on the site ourselves & try things out.  No, don't
offer to share your login credentials.  The VDH folks have posted on here that it is
against company policy to accept user's paid or unpaid login credentials.  I take my cue
from them & I will also refuse to accept login credentials to any paid or even unpaid
subscription web site.  If you get desperate, you must post screenshots of what you are
trying to do.  Screenshots.  Maybe one of us will be able to guide you if you let us see
what you see when you are on the site.  But you are going to have to do the bulk of the
work to solve your own problem.
