There have been reports on here of sites that do not allow VDH for Chrome to download
from them but VDH for Firefox works. We recently had a report of exactly that situation
with Hotmart, which is, if I understand things correctly, a similar site to Udemy. So
you should try to use Firefox, VDH for Firefox release 8.1.0.0a8 beta, & CoApp release
2.0.7. These are the latest releases as of this moment. Of course, if you go looking
for the extension & the CoApp & you find newer releases, use them. You can find helpful
instructions in these threads:
https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/jRjBH5lDctwhttps://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/guxm6mUhm8sBe sure you carefully read every word of the instructions in there, display every
attached image, & follow the instructions to the letter. Don't skim. Don't skip
anything. Be careful & concentrate.
If Udemy still doesn't work, oh well, you gave it your best shot. Since Udemy is a site
that requires a paid subscription, the VDH developers can't investigate it, nor can
fellow users (such as myself). You are pretty much on your own trying to make this work.
You should be prepared to fail, but hope for the best.
If you can't get VDH to work on Udemy, search this forum for a thread with "too fast" in
its title. That thread explains some alternative techniques for downloading from sites
on which VDH does not work. Understand, that thread explains how to download content NOT
using VDH. Once again, nobody here is going to be able to show you how to make those
techniques work because we can't get on the site ourselves & try things out. No, don't
offer to share your login credentials. The VDH folks have posted on here that it is
against company policy to accept user's paid or unpaid login credentials. I take my cue
from them & I will also refuse to accept login credentials to any paid or even unpaid
subscription web site. If you get desperate, you must post screenshots of what you are
trying to do. Screenshots. Maybe one of us will be able to guide you if you let us see
what you see when you are on the site. But you are going to have to do the bulk of the
work to solve your own problem.
