Invalid Sample Description

Ever since the latest upgrade (Version 5.5.0), all my downloads are giving me an error "An invalid sample description was found in the movie." I am on an iMac using Firefox. It didn't do this before.

This doesn't look like an error message from the add-on itself. Where do you get that error message exactly ?

The message comes from trying to launch the finished, downloaded movie. I have found that it will launch in the latest Quicktime 10, but plays very erratic. The only way I can get it to be a normal movie file is to import it into Handbrake, then export it as a Normal MP4 file. Handbrake seems to be the only converter that will recognize it. Maybe because of its roots being within the VLC engine.

The converters that go with VDH (libav or ffmpeg) are also likely to work.
