Has anyone considered Digital Rights Management? If a content creator imposes DRM, chances are, your download will get screwed up regardless of how good video download helper is.
Can anyone defeat DRM?
I believe that would make the biggest difference.
Twitter is known for imposing DRM. Many other websites are following suit; mainstream media sites, cnn cbc bbc ctvnews

Still an issue. It's definitely downloading something, but fumbles at the end.

I've had success with Gallery-DL though. It's command-line and not super-beginner friendly, but it gets the job done (once you figure out how).For Twitter, you'll need to download your cookies in the standard (Netscape?) format.
Add this to your config.json in the extractor object/dict. "twitter": {
"archive-format": "{tweet_id}_{num}",
"username": "YOUR TWITTER USERNAME",
"cookies": "%APPDATA%/gallery-dl/twitter.com_cookies.txt",
"csrf": "cookies",
"refresh-token": "cache"
},
Hope this helps.

Look for a reference to an alternative method for downloading something when VDH fails to
do so. One of the examples shown in there is a Twitter video.
