Error downloading after installing download helper companion app 1.6.3 firefox linux mint 19.2

I just updated the Video DownloadHelper Companion App 1.6.3 and now I get an error when downloading a file, with following messages: (PLEASE HELP! Thanks!!!)

OK, I managed to answer my next thread, which was: where to find a previous version of the companion app:

I found it on github:

https://github.com/mi-g/vdhcoapp/releases

And I downloaded and installed each previous version until I found one that works:

which is: 1.6..0-1

Now I would like to know why the following versions do not work.

I would like to try this on Windows 7 with Firefox. That might help narrow things down.
But when I do a search on Vimeo with this search key:

Orientation, Sensation, Imagination

Both with & without commas, I get 0 results. You need to post a URL of the problematic
item. That's something everybody should always do. Post an actual URL as text within
your post, not as part of an image, but as plain text within your post. Then anybody
else can just click the link in your post to test your video.

In addition, I tried this search on Google:

Orientation Sensation Imagination video

It gave me a YouTube result. That's not the same thing you were looking at so I didn't
even test it. You need to tell us the exact video you had trouble with.

Thank you for your answer.

I can not post a link, because you need to log in to access the videos, with a username and password.

As I wrote, there is no problem, using the 1.6.0-1 version of the companion app.

But every version after that won't work (1.6.1, 1.6.2 & 1.6.3).

I would appreciate to hear when this problem will be fixed, then I'll try to install the newer version again and see how this goes.

Unless your version of mint suddenly gets a version of glibc that is newer than the one in the developer's version of ubuntu,

you cannot use any version newer than the one that's working for you right now.

Bottom line: the version of glibc in your machine MUST be newer than the one in the companion app, meaning the

companion app version MUST use a glibc that is the same or an older version than in your mint.

So don't bother trying to work with the newer versions - you'll be wasting your time.  Use what works for you now.
