VDH no longer detecting Instagram videos

Hello,

VDH is no longer detecting/downloading videos from Instagram (Chrome & Firefox), clips from Stories are okay, though.

It seems they changed something.

Is this being looked at / worked on? To be clear, if you are not logged in to IG, you can download a video from a publuc account.  You cannot download a video from a private account. 

I f you -ARE- logged in to IG , you cannot download. This started in early December.

Is the above example a link to a public or private account ?  The original poster gave an example that didn't work for them but I downloaded it

It does not matter if it is a public or private account.  If you are logged in, you can no longer download videos. If you are not, and you access a public account, you still can. VDH used to work with both public and private accounts.  That are Android tools and presumably Apple tools that still work easily with both public and private accounts. There are also  some other utilities that enable download for SOME, not all private videos on a computer, but not as easily as VDH used to.   It would be very helpful for VDH to restore this functionality, so that it woks on a computer, like it used to.
