ProTip: If you activate "Context menu" on the Appearance tab of the VDH, you will be able to see the entries for the full video. They will not scroll off as they do when you click on the three-ball icon.
You can then right-click anywhere on the page (this particular page has right-click disabled on the actual video frame, but VDH doesn't care about that) and VDH will be one of the options presented. When you click on it you get a scrollable list that does not update constantly as the three-ball list does. So you can easily find the HLS entries by scrolling down. Left-clicking on a HLS entry in the scrollable list results in the file downloading to your default folder (no option to select any other folder), right-clicking results in the file playing in your media player.
Doing that with this particular video, I immediately found two video-and-sound combined entries, at different resolutions (144p and 720p). When I repeated the exercise after a few minutes' play, a 1080p version appeared.
The only downside is that the entry you selected disappears from the list once you selected it. This "helpful"(???) feature of VDH means that if you want to re-try, you will have to start over in a new tab.
