Par contre lorsque je veux enregistrer deux vidéos en même temps, l'une est en téléchargement et l'autre en assemblage et c'est long, très long.
J'ai l'impression que l'enregistrement atend que l'autre ai fini l'assemblage, et inversement.
First, thank you for your kind reply. Yes, if you intend to provide a self-contained solution that's good news... my message was intended to highlight that the install of this "alpha" version is just too complicated for the average Mac user. Since the process is now two-step, I think it would be nice to have the option to postpone the conversion phase for later. Say I am on the road with an underpowered Macbook Air, I would like to do the capture of the audio / video streams right away but postpone the conversion later for when I have access to a more powerful Mac... right now the conversion time is very dependent on CPU power... or at least that's what I observed.
> "now I have to pay for using an open-source audio converter !!!": don't you find frustrating when driving through a toll booth that you have to pay for just a few feet to pass the gate ? I do. Then i realize that maybe the fee was for the whole road / bridge / tunnel, and those infrastructures would simply not exist if they were not funded by something. You paid (a high price) for your Mac. If you think everything should be free, go for Linux. And you'll discover that there is no license to pay for the VDH converter. And NO, you didn't pay for the converter. You installed it for free. The license is for using VDH which is not open-source.
Yes! And I for one wished that VDH were open source... I am happy to support open source projects such as Hanbrake and Videolan! But you are right, this is not the place to have that discussion! :-)
In my situation, for the Universe of video sources I deal with I have a general purpose [commercial + open source] solution that I have been using reliably for years... VDH was pointed to me recently, though limited in the video sources it can handle, its capture mode was attractive to handle Vimeo videos (even though the video it generated needed post-conversion to make it Mac friendly)... as Is the case usually each solution has its tradeoffs... so yes, Rest assured I'll be keeping track of the product's further development. Does the product have a trial mode for its advanced features?
Regards!
Hello! Version 6.3.0a do not working for me. I'm using firefox on Archlinux. All videos from vimeo download with result size of 1-3 kb size, Converter is "installed" and path points to ffmpeg. How to fix or debug this issue?
