Video DownloadHelper on Opera

Hi,

I'm using Opera browser on Linux Mint and using the "Install Chrome Extensions" which allows me to use Chrome extensions out of the box.

Now, with Video DownloadHelper, I have installed it as well as the companion app, but in Opera I'm getting the message that the companion app is not installed.

This is the exact message I get:

Checking companion app returned: Specified native messaging host not found

Sorry I don't know, we only support Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

It sounds like an install problem in Linux with the companion app.

Can you provide more precise information, what version of Linux Mint are you running ?

And what version of the companion app did you choose to install ?
