No successful downloads possible anymore: videos only single images and pixelation, audio but OK

Hello everyone,

for a few weeks now, I have been unable to download videos successfully: the audio is always fine, but the videos only have sporadic jerky frames and pixelation. I have tried the default settings of the DownloadHelper extension without success. Multiple players exhibit the same behavior (VLC, Movies & TV, Media Player…). Does anyone have an idea?"

You need to provide some more information like your OS and browser as well as the website. Not just the site name but a link to a video.

To reply:  use Reply all and delete everything after clicking the show quoted text button.

There's a lot in that discussion, basically it boils down to 2 options. Try to download it another way or produce a repaired  file at correct

frame rate. See if you can grasp it or not.

Found a solution: https://clipgrab.org/ is able to download vimeo videos with correct frame rate.

First I tried to repair frame rate by using https://www.xmedia-recode.de/: Doesn't work correctly.
