Hello, could anybody help me about this? :

Until two or three months ago, I could download videos from RTVE web, for example:

http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/para-todos-la-2/para-todos-2-productos-naturales-vaya-timo/1250638/

But now it doesn't work, Video DownloadHelper doesn't recognize the video the web is playing :-( ...

Can anyone help?

Thank you very much from Spain...

I've had no problem downloading this video. Are you sure you did not uncheck the "Network probe" parameter from the VDH settings ?

Hi mig, Firefox starts download the video, but says that size of file is ¡¡2 GB!! , which is impossible, so I cancel the download; before, may be 2 or 3 months ago, this file would only take about 200 MB :-( ...

I have Firefox and DownloadHelpher Spanish versions, where is the VDH settings? I go to "Preferences" (in my version, "Preferencias") but I can't find that settings.

Firefox and VDH can only display what file size the server is advertising. It is not uncommon that a server does not provide an accurate size and it is often 2GB that is being (wrongly) advertised. In this case, the real file is exactly 87387511 bytes.

To open VDH settings, just open the VDH panel and click "Settings", or open the Firefox addons page, click the "Extensions" tab and click "Preferences", then "Settings".

However, i suggested to have a look at the "Network probe" VDH parameter because you said VDH did not recognize the video, but if you say it is only the video size being wrong, it means VDH recognized the video so you do not need to check the VDH settings.

Hi Michel, you were right, the file size is only 87 MB!

I've downloaded the video, everything's right now! :-)

Thank you very much for your help, best regards from Spain...
