I've used VDH for a long time (Chrome License) in Brave and it worked fine. Recently (since the last update??) I'm unable to download anything, it just says "No Media to process.....". Occasionally I get webm's listed but they always turn out to be ads, thumbnails, etc.

I shut off all extensions, disabled Brave Shields, restarted Brave many times, reinstalled VDH as well as the companion app, to no avail. I've tried Vimeo, DailyMotion as well as Pornhub, and others, same result on all, "No Media to Process..." as the video is playing in the tab.

I tried it in Vivaldi and it worked there until I got a re-evaluation notice.

Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Brave
Version 1.61.109 Chromium: 120.0.6099.144 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Video Downloadhelper 8.1.3.0

Thanks of any help you can provide. I've been using download web sites (yuck, so much crap!) and would love to get this working again.

Hi,
Officially we do not support Brave.
Can you share a public link of a video with this issue?

Here's a short clip showing an Aquaman video playing at Dailymotion.

My recording of the issue in Brave: https://imgur.com/a/3TgyyyA

Same video, different point in it though, in Vivaldi: https://imgur.com/a/BM8ijSp

I saw your response yesterday to kuba4ful, who also uses Brave, asking if restoring the download location to default helped. So, fyi,  I reset mine to defaults and it didn't make any difference.

Sorry, I tested your link on Chrome and Firefox, there is no detection problem.

Hi,
Had that issue.
Right click on the extension icon -> Manage Extension -> Allow access to file URLs -> on
seems to fix it.

Cheers
