This only occurs on some streaming videos and of course, it waits until it's wasted all the bandwidth and CPU processing to fail (it happens at the very end of the download/capture). I'm using the latest version of Video DownloadHelper and the companion app and the companion app is set as the default handler.

https://regainyourbrain.awakeningfromalzheimers.com/new-episode (this page contains links to individual episodes, click on any of them to activate download/capture) - this link will only be valid until Sun 3/18 (they will remove access). This error occurs regardless of what bit rate or resolution is chosen.
