Le test de l'appli compagnon a retourné: No such native application net.downloadhelper.coapp

I tried seemingly anything I could think of to allow firefox to access /opt/net.downloadhelper.coapp/*
I always had the same message. Obviously I've been trying wrong, the root tree as seen by firefox (via flatpak) has nothing to do with the actual one, so these effort seems hopeless. But I don't know if/how i can let it access it or where to install it or what else to do.

I believe my configuration is mainstream enough so that there should be a clear solution by now, but I just can't find it. I mean : flatpak firefox is supported, right ?

Hi,

sorry I don't know. We only support official Firefox, Edge and Chrome.

You can also give it a try using Chrome. If it works (and it should), you will know the coapp has been properly installed (this is the same coapp instance regardless of the browser) so the problem would be with the Firefox install via flatpak (which is my best guess).

That's definitely an issue with flatpak (sandboxing ?) as it works with firefox from the ubuntu repository.
When I have time I will go and ask flatpak people what to do about it
