[bug] Orphan hits don't get cleared after x amount of seconds

Please fix this bug in firefox.
Even if I set it to 1 second, the orphan hits do not get cleared and cause massive memory leak over time.

Please add an option to never keep any orphan links.

Sad but true, Kei, unless you can describe a use case in which you always see orphans
persisting, you're not going to get this one resolved. You said it yourself that this
happens only sometimes. I have to say I've never seen it. That all just makes it next
to impossible for Michel (the developer) to even investigate the issue. You have to
provide a URL & a step-by-step description of what you do to make the problem appear.
And it has to be something that makes it happen every time. If you can't do that, you
won't see any progress here.

Sorry late reply, took me a while to discover a way to reproduce it.

0. Set 1 second timer before orphans are cleared.

1. Go to gogoanime.sk.

2. Click on a random video and hit play, then pause to let Video Download Helper to populate the hits.

3. Let the page idle or put PC to sleep for 8 hours or something to make the site thinks the session has expired. Which means the hits will not work anymore if you try to download them.

4. Refresh the page and play pause again, more hits will populate along with the old ones.

5. Click on another video to let the hits become orphans. The orphans won't get cleared.

Please fix this.

I don't believe you understand what an orphan is. This is how you get orphans:

Go to a page.
Click play, let it run a few seconds, click pause.
Open the VDH menu & see the hits.
Close the page. Yes, close the page.
Go to any other browser page, even about:blank.
Open the VDH menu there.
You will see some orphans listed there. These are the hits that are orphaned by your
closing the other page.
After your timeout, the orphans will disappear.

Leaving your page open retains the hits there, even if they time out. Timing out is NOT
synonymous with becoming an orphan. You need to CLOSE a page to make the hits on that
page orphans. You can see orphans only in OTHER browser tabs.
